Many of our DUI patients have lost their driving privileges,
and have to go to a hearing with the State of Illinois, Secretary of State in order to re-apply for driving privileges.
Up until now, many persons hired an attorney to represent them at the hearings. This can be extremely expensive, as many
attorney's charge thousands of dollars to represent people at Secretary of State hearings. Many attorney's use the
line, "Former Secretary of State Hearing Officer" as a way to solicit business. What they do not tell you is that you do
not need to be represented at a hearing. You can save many thousands of dollars by representing yourself at a hearing.
Hearing Officers use a checklist of questions that they ask at each hearing. If you are represented by an attorney, your
attorney will ask some of the questions. If you represent yourself, the Hearing Officer will ask the same questions. It
does not matter if you have representation or not, the questions will be the same.

Tricon will provide the same services as those provided
by most attorneys, with one exception, we will not go to the hearing with you. Our DUI Hearing Services consists of
three one hour sessions. These are individual sessions, and are scheduled by appointment only. Session One will
be a review of all of your treatment paperwork. This will end with a recommendation if more treatment is needed. Remember,
the hours listed in your evaluation are only minimums, and the Secretary of State looks favorably on anyone who does more
than is required.

If you pay thousands of dollars for an attorney, they will
usually do the following: 1. Review all treatment paperwork 2. Ask you about your treatment experience
3. Advise you of the questions that will be asked 4. Go with you to the hearing
Tricon Counseling is proud
to present our newest service, which can save you literally thousands of dollars. It is our DUI Hearing Service.

Session two is a review of your drinking/drug history,
and more questioning of the type you will get at your hearing. This way, you will be familiar with the questioning you will
receive at the hearing. It will end with any recommendations of areas you might need help with. Session three is
a mock hearing. It will be done in the same manner as a regular hearing. Except at the end of the session you will be told
if you would have passed, and if not, the reasons why. We do not provide legal services or advice. However, a hearing
is actually your report on what you learned in treatment. It is far more realistic to have you judged by treatment professionals
than legal help. Please contact our office at 630-933-9556 if you have any questions or want to schedule an appointment.
